Arkansas authorized a long-running centennial series showing a Native American and Liberty on the obverse and an eagle before the state flag on the reverse. Coins were issued from all three mints in most years from 1935 through 1939. Falling mintages and repeated sets generated collector resistance even though the basic design did not change.
Obverse: Liberty and a Native American.
Reverse: Arkansas centennial eagle.
