America the Beautiful Quarter history

The America the Beautiful Quarters Program ran from 2010 through 2021 and followed the earlier State and Territorial quarter programs. Authorized in 2008, it honored a national park or other nationally significant site from each state, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories. Five new designs were normally released each year, for a total of 56 sites. The series began with Hot Springs National Park and concluded in 2021 with Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site.
