Sacagawea Golden Dollar history notes

The Sacagawea Golden Dollar was issued from 2000 through 2008 with a common soaring-eagle reverse. It is a small-size, golden-colored manganese-brass clad dollar and contains no silver.

Collectors distinguish the first-year 2000 issues from the 2001–2008 standard eagle-reverse era. Beginning in 2009, the same Sacagawea obverse continued with annually changing Native American reverse designs.
