U.S. Mint coin reference
Liberty Seated quarters ran for decades and include multiple subtypes.

Obverse: Liberty seated on a rock holding shield and pole.
1856–1865: Liberty Seated Quarter (Variety 2C: Arrows Removed, No Motto) keeps the reduced quarter standard after the 1853–1855 arrows were removed. The No Motto reverse remained until 1866, when IN GOD WE TRUST was added above the eagle.
These coins weigh about 6.22 grams, not the 6.68-gram pre-1853 standard or the 6.25-gram standard introduced in 1873. Date and mintmark establish the correct interval.
